Level 1 BJJ - Introductory level, no experience required. Covers Self-defense situations and basic BJJ with the GI. When a student joins the Level 1 program, he/she is monitored by the instructors and is informed when ready to advance. We require this because there are core techniques that are essential to learn before progress in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is possible. These are the techniques that are emphasized in the Level 1 classes.

Level 2 BJJ – Here the student continues to build on the theory, strategy and techniques from level 1. Includes more advanced BJJ with and without the GI.
